We usually know that we have to count our calories in order to lose weight successfully but do we know how many calories we need and why? Then you will need to determine daily calorie needs by using a calorie needs estimator which is easily found on the web. Then together you and the doctor can determine how much exercises you should do on a daily basis.


    After leaving your doctor then you can plan a healthy calorie counting diet plan. The doctor will help you find the amount of weight you should be, goals for you to go by etc.

    To estimate how much weight loss, you need the number of calories you should eat per day and finally what activity recommendations you should follow. After determining these vital things, only then are you ready to plan delicious meals.

You will need to make sure that you have your calorie counter in advance so you know for sure how many calories you are getting. Just about everything that you buy today tells you the calories that it contains but again if you go on the web there are programs that will tell you the amount of calories in fruits, vegetables, etc.


    In order to maintain a good healthy body I would go on to the Mediterranean diet site which is one way of not counting calories. Why? Because most Mediterranean meals are consumed in moderate amounts thereby discounting laborious calorie counting.
